By | Community | No Comments

After teaching in the basement of his house for seven to eight months, Professor James “Monster” Mullins opened Monster Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in Chillicothe in November 2018 after starting his teaching career in Knoxville, Tennessee in 2007. Monster offers classes for kids as little as four in his Mini Monsters class designed to help them with balance and body strength, through to classes for adults and encourages all ages, fitness levels, and believes everyone should be allowed to work at their own pace.

Whether your goals are fitness, self-confidence, anti-bullying, self-defense, competition, or any other personal goal in-between Monster is the place to be and your first class is free! We love that Monster brings to the community a unique combination of physical improvements, like greater flexibility, strength, and endurance right through to learning the principles of modesty, courtesy, integrity, self-control, and perseverance.

Printex Same-Day Printing | Tour with Jeff

By | Community | No Comments

Started by his father in 1975 in the living room of his house—after six years Printex Same-Day Printing eventually came to settle in its current location and they are here for the long-haul! As a young kid, Jeff would come in and help on Saturdays with the family business—after college he decided to go fulltime, not because he HAD to but because he WANTED to and it shows.

Gone are the days of printing in a dark room with negatives and film. Printex now works with manufacturers worldwide as well as local retail stores using digital machines and large digital presses to turn projects around in as quick as THAT day. They can bring your special event to life with party printables like announcements, greeting cards, postcards, full-color envelopes, programs; and if there’s something custom you want to be printed, like an invitation, wall calendar, photo canvas or banner, just let them know!

These days it’s the same quality, delivered MUCH faster, and often to a background of live music or karaoke.

Family-owned and operated business with dough made fresh seven days a week, in May 2019 they will have been in operation for 65 years—no doubt cementing their place as a staple in the community.
